   ALSA Asian Forum is one of the most traditional and important activities of Asian Law Students Association (ALSA). The Forum is held annually, and is the venue for exchanging and discussing views on relevant legal, economies, and social issues faced by the member countries to come across possible solutions. It has the objectives to create distinctive law students. With full optimism, they shall have the understanding and appreciation to the diverse principles of law through interchange and communication, to motivate and develop creative spirit through network of joint activities, and encouraging the enhancement of their legal capabilities.

   During each forum, each National Chapter being member country of ALSA send its delegation along with its National Board to participate in it. Each year, ALSA Asian Forum is differentiated by up-to-date legal researched themes.

Administrative Programs 

 General Assembly

 It is an annual meeting composing all of ALSA Executive Committee, the International Board, and all the representatives and attended delegates of all ALSA member countries. The new members of the International Board are selected through an election by all the delegates after the nomination of all the positions according to the regulations of the Constitution.

 Governing Council Meeting

 Governing Council Meeting is the meeting of ALSA administrative body. In this meeting, there are thorough discussion of the following aspects: Administrative System, Activities of ALSA, Management of the branches and members, Election of the executives, Constitution of ALSA. This Governing Council Meeting is held concurrently with the Table Discussion.

 

Academic Programs

Table Discussion (Commission)

In Table Discussion, law students from different countries discuss different legal problems, and they figure out some suggestive opinions and solutions from different angles of law through analyzing and comparing based on each perspective of different countries around Asia.

Symposium

There are lectures by key note speakers, which are usually legal professionals, and student discussion in the symposium about certain legal topics. This activity does not only acknowledge the students about the discussed topic, it also increases the students’ awareness of topic of each forum and enables the students to express their ideas about the certain topic.

 

Non-Academic Programs

Cultural Night

There are performances from each participating country which fully show the colorful and diverse culture of Asia, so as to establish understanding and friendship among delegates and countries despite cultural, religious, and moral beliefs. 

Cultural Trip

The delegates are taken on a sightseeing as well of course, a learning experience in many of the member countries’ site that are rich of histories and cultures.
